Apple launches new iPod Nano and new iTunes - but no tablet computer
While Apple may have left its fans hanging out for tablet computer, experts predict it won't be long before the company enters the netbook market.
Retrevo CEO Vipin Jain told Reuters that the laptop market was defying the global downturn with the increasing popularity of notebooks, adding that the US back to school demand had increased sales by 40%.
"With the upcoming release of Windows 7 from Microsoft, many believe that Netbook and lower-priced laptop sales will continue to increase," he says.
