According to last year’s 2008 Retrevo Pulse Report, there was a 30% decrease in digital camera demand. However, new 2009 data reveals, even though the economy is still in trouble, demand for digital cameras is remarkably strong.

Strong digital camera demand, at this time, is contrary to predictions. Digital camera prices haven’t decreased, instead they’ve remained the same and with many cell phones offering a reasonable alternative to consumer cameras, demand is still strong.
