2010 Retrevo Gadget Census forms will be available online for completion starting today on Retrevo.com where a representative from each household is invited to answer a short series of questions.
Unlike the U.S. Census Bureau, which must deliver population information from the 2010 Census to the President in December, Retrevo will periodically publish findings from the 2010 Gadget Census to provide an ongoing geographic-based record of trends and statistics about shifting patterns in regional gadget ownership, purchase, and demand.
"The technology people own and use says a lot about us as individuals and as a nation,” said Vipin Jain, Retrevo president and CEO. “Gadgets impact our day-to-day lives in ways we never imagined before, whether it is staying connected with friends and family over Facebook, being proficient at work by using a computer, or just staying informed by consuming news on a mobile phone or an HDTV. We believe insight into gadget ownership is essential when looking at an individual's lifestyle, as well as the economy and innovation in general."
The Retrevo 2010 Gadget Census form is brief and easy to complete. Strict confidentiality for individuals is assured to protect the respondents and the information they provide.
Retrevo is one of the largest consumer electronics review and shopping sites in the world, helping people decide what to buy, when to buy, and where to buy.
