Sridar Iyengar, former senior partner with KPMG
Mr. Sridar Iyengar has spent 35 years involved in global businesses. He is currently an Operating Partner and the Chairman of the Advisor Group, India at Bessemer Venture Partners. He served as the Partner-in-Charge of KPMG's Emerging Business Practice. Mr. Iyengar has a number of leadership roles during his 34 years stay within KPMG's global organization. He has the unique distinction of having worked as a partner in all three of KPMG's regions are Europe, America and Asia Pacific, as well as in all four of KPMG's functional disciplines of assurance, tax, consulting, and financial advisory services. Until March 2002, Mr. Iyengar was a Partner at KPMG LLP, where he worked in the United Kingdom, United States, and India practices across all disciplines-audit, tax, consulting, and corporate finance. Mr. Iyengar helped set up KPMG's operation in India. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman at KPMG's India operations between 1997 and 2000. On his return to the United States from India, Mr. Iyengar set up and headed KPMG's practice focused on early-stage companies. He was with KPMG from 1968 until his retirement in March 2002. He serves on the Boards of Infosys Technologies, ICICI Bank, Rediff.com and Onmobile Global among other companies in the United States and India. Mr. Iyengar is a founding charter member of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) and served as the President in Silicon Valley and the global organisation. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
