If Apple comes out with the higher resolution iPad, expect the lower resolution one to be sold at a lower price. Therefore preempting the Amazon tablet's supposed price advantage. To offer a tablet with similar features will result in a similar price and much less profit due to the lack of scale that Apple enjoys. Amazon will probably shoot for adequate features (and claim them to be similar) so they can make some money. Hopefully they have some success; I'd hate to see any one company dominate.
