I agree with you. I have been looking over the "pure" tablets. And yes, the Ipads and some of the others look very sleek! However, unless you just want a gadget with low usability you should go for the transformer. Long battery life, keyboard, expansion ports. You can actually use it for more then a bit of browsing and looking at pictures and vids.
