My current laptop has a screen resolution of 1920x1200 true color. The best you can do now is get a 1080 display. I am developer and I like the big screens (17" laptop) with lots of pixels. It is hard to find desktop displays that support higher resolution. Some how OEMS figure we just want to watch HD video. So do I stick with my slower processor but higher resolution display or give up on resolution and go with processor power and multiple displays.
