Sheeple are those who spout dogma over reality. I'm not a code writer or a programer, but I've experimented with Linux and some of the open source systems. They have their ups and down. Being component system rather then consoles, they are much more virsus resistant. Each person decides which parts to install, so virsus writers would either have to do an AI version or write a million variations. With Windows being uniformed, even when installed on diferent machines, it gives them recurrent weak points that are easy to spot. Apple's totalitarianism, doesn't allow intrusion. If you want to get a peripheral or program for Apple, it has to be approved by them. Open scource means that some code writer has to actually written a code for the device or program. Windows depends on three levels of ego; the ego of the person writing that section of Windows, the ego of the person designing the machine, and the ego of whoever designed the device or program. Being customized Apples operating system can be lean and mean, thus being faster and take up less space. The everyman Windows has carry port adapters and device drivers because it doen't know where it's landing next. Open scource has to be installed per system, so you have to pick and choose multible coponents. There are some distributions that have an installer program that is basically similar to windows, but if you want anything not on the disc, then you have to have some skills. Many of these people bragging about using Linux had to have someone else set up their box. Then they have to have someone install new ptograms and equipment. The machine doesn't crash because they never get to touch anything vital.

It basically come down to when a person uses a term like sheeple or brain dead dead robot, RUN!. It usually means that their intellectual honesty isn't what it should be.
