The WDTV has two USB ports and accepts any kind of USB keyboard - even wireless ones. So you don't need to frickle on the soft keyboard of your iOS or Android phone. Although using your smartphone as a remote control is a neat feature. BTW, the amount of offered streaming services on the WDTV is very very limited and you can't add anything yourself – it's strong point is not really streaming stuff off the internet.
