Nowhere in your article did I see the mention of Linux. The Linux kernel is the basis of Android and Chrome, so devices that run those OS's are built for Linux. Well, there are 300 other Linux distributions that aren't Google, and it's easier to install one on a Google machine than on one built for Windows. Although right now I'm running LinuxMint on an HP laptop that started out on Windows7. Be free of Microsoft, and free of Google too!
