Mix equal parts of:

• 99% pure Isopropyl alcohol, which you can find at most drug stores
• distilled water

Directions:

Dampen a cloth, preferably a micro-fiber cloth with the solution and go to town. Some experts caution against using wood-based paper like newsprint or paper towels which could leave tiny scratches.

Disclaimer

Although safer than ammonia-based cleaners like Windex, alcohol may damage some anti-reflective coatings although we’ve used it without any apparent harm. We’ve also seen recipes that substitute white vinegar for alcohol. If you are at all concerned, stick with good old distilled H2O.
