Turn the manual focusing ring on the lens... until the subject appears sharp in the viewfinder...... Set the lens focus mode switch to < MF > (or < M > on older lenses...... If you press and hold the shutter button down halfway as you focus manually... icon appears on the LCD panel...... you will see the AF point where the subject is focused, and the focus confirma- tion light < ●> will light...... During manual focus, the beeper will not sound even when focus is achieved......

Select < > mode to manually set the aperture value...In low-light conditions against a background such as a night sky, you can use automatic slow-sync settings to properly expose the main subject and the background...The main subject is captured by the flash, and the background is captured by time exposure using a slow shutter speed...... Select < > mode for full autoflash...The shutter speed and aperture value are determined automatically, just as in < (Full Auto) mode......
