You can create 2 start-up images using still images on the memory card......
CREATE START–UP IMAGE...
1...Select a still image with the CARD +/– buttons......
2...Open the menu and select [MY CAMERA......
3...Select [CREATE START-UP IMAGE......
SET THIS AS START-UP IMAGE?], [YES] and [NO] appears......
SAVE AS MY IMAGE1], [MY IMAGE2] and [CANCEL] appears......
5...Select [MY IMAGE1......
OVERWRITE MY IMAGE1?], [NO] and [YES] appears......

If “MF” is displayed in light blue, AE shift cannot be adjusted...Press the AE SHIFT button again to display “AE ±0” in light blue......

You can adjust the AE (auto exposure) function to lighten or darken the image...This allows you to compensate for backlit or overexposed scenes...Available Levels: –2 to +2...

AE SHIFT button...
Camcorder is not set to CAMERA mode...Time zone, date and time are not set, or the backup battery is exhausted......
