To set the prompt delay time 1...This selects Preferences and then selects Set Prompt Delay Time...If you select Off, hints do not appear on the display but other messages, such as low ink warnings and error messages, do still appear...... For example, if you press Menu in the Copy area and the prompt delay time passes before you press another button, the message "Press Menu for settings." appears on the display...... The Set Prompt Delay Time option enables you to control the amount of time that passes before a message prompts you to take further action......
