Sending a Fax by Automatic Dialing

When you hear the fax tone, press...

All clips, staples, and pins must be removed from documents before loading...
If you need to send or copy more than the maximum number of sheets...
Close the operation panel, pressing down firmly on both front corners to make sure it clicks into place......
place the additional sheets gently and carefully in the feeder just before the last sheet is scanned...Do not try to force them in, as this may cause double- feeding or jamming......
Adjust the resolution and/or contrast settings as explained on page 36, then dial the receiving machine as explained on page 39......
