Despite the singular moniker, the Aspire One is available in a few configurations...Admittedly, the hard drive and larger battery do affect the One's size and weight, upping its dimensions from 249 x 170 x 29mm (WxDxH) to 249 x 195 x 36mm and increasing the weight from just under a kilo to 1.26kg, but that's unavoidable...Like most netbooks these days, the Aspire One comes...

This is the obvious selling point of the model over its predecessor 3-cell sister (which my father owns), so I'd recommend that the buyer consider whether or not the extra battery life is needed...For reduction in time here, I'd also recommend scrapping the preinstalled McAffee security suite in favor of a program less resource dependent...This little machine is not without its cons, however...
The performance was very bad, but after upgrading the ram to 1.5 GB and disabling the page file it seemed to have improved things...but i would say that its not a bad thing...Which brings me to my only other thought why didn't acer just install ubunto since it doesn't really take up any more space than linpus GOOD SUBLAPTOP.should have bought the xp with 120gb and xp but heard the fans...
I was also looking at the Dell Mini Notebook from QVC...I love this little bugger; it looks good, the keyboard is easier to use than ASUS eeePC, and I like that it has XP...it is incrediably light and esy to use...
