Works well with my laptop & desktop computer...I did try to install it and even searched for updated Vista drivers, even on the mfg's web site, which apparently don't exist...I expect that it will work in XP, but you will eventually have to upgrade, and how long you wait to upgrade to Vista will determine how long you will be able to use this device...
