Overall I think this product is worthy of a 5 star rating because it offers the most bang for the buck as it were, amazing features at a moderate price...To be fair, its the same deal with an iPod Touch! In fact, apple has taken to charging for their new software features too :O For myself, I still think this is a good deal but its good to know what you're in for ahead of time...I have had to order...

The sound quality is good but I do wish the volume could be higher, but I also tend to play my music a little too loud anyways...Overall the Archos is the best PVP out now...Too bad these people give the 605 a bad rating without reading the manual...
I do not use it to connect to 802.11 because it only supports WEP, not WPA...I've had my ARCHOS605 for a week now, and so far i am pretty sattisfied with it! The sound quality is fairly good ( for its size) and it's very pocketable...to download).The touch screen works to perfection, and the video quality is GREAT! Also, another good feature is the picture quality...
