Tiny; very cheap; easy to upgrade components...Gets hot; only average battery life; needs more storage...As a tool for office work, though, the Eee is less convincing...More annoyingly, the battery lasted between two and three hours in our tests...The 800x480 pixel screen is good enough to view most websites without excessive scrolling, especially if you hit F11 for the full-screen mode......

Asus also bundles some kid-friendly games, Skype for making VoIP calls, and an instant messaging program...We thought we were reading an Onion headline this summer when we saw "$100 Laptop to Cost $188." In fact, the XO costs more, but with good reason. U.S...customers are able to buy two XO computers for $399, with one of them going to a child in the developing world...
But the Eee costs less than any full-blown laptop we've ever seen, while weighing a mere 928g...each key is about the same size as a fingernail, and getting up to full speed takes a good half-hour's practice...But, it's more than enough for hundreds of office documents, and we failed to find a flash drive that wouldn't work in one of the Eee's three USB ports...
