It is a quality moniter but,mine arrived with translucent white spots on the screen.Its luck of the draw when it comes to lcd panels.Even the most exspensive panels can be defective.I liked the moniters quality,as far as the build and response time.Asus is always top quality...I really can't think of one, and I'm normally good at finding these things...The Picture is still outstanding...
Good thing that, since the eyes I have are mostly human (I say "mostly" since I wear contact lenses...Essentially, my office picked the perfect monitor with built-in speakers for an office setting! In other words, if you need good sound quality, don't depend on the speakers in this monitor...All in all, this is a good LCD screen monitor...
Asus' "Zero Bright Dot" policy means no dead pixels, guaranteed - excellent if you're a bit fussy like I am...So I decided to risk it (knowing that Asus have a good reputation) and I'm glad I did...I've found that enabling large icons and text size in Windows while using the native resolution gives me excellent results...
