Powerful innards...Leather interior...Gorgeous design...Full-size keyboard...Under 4 pounds...Built-in optical drive....Battery is too small...Mouse buttons aren't well designed....The endless proliferation of ASUS-branded laptops is growing by the minute?not that this is a bad thing...If only ASUS had paid more attention to the U6S's battery life, it would rank right up...
Slick box - includes everything you'll ever need, shy maybe a second power adapter (includes bluetooth mouse with 2 AA batteries...I would give it 4.5 and still recommend it to people who can find power outlets easily See my review below Not really a con, so I put it in Other Thoughts...What's the point of giving it 2 Gigs of RAM?! After the fresh reinstall, this thing was quick, and after applying all the recommended tweaks by NotebookReview, it's even more so...Highly recommended for someone who is always on the go but is never more than three hours in between power outlets...I recommend Vista Battery Saver and some of the tweak guides found on this forum...
Fast, quiet, nice screen, very light, amazing battery life (3-4 hours), security panel with fingerprint recognition/photo recognition is a nice bonus...Still getting used to Windows Vista Overall, I LOVE my new ASUS computer...I am very happy with my new purchase...
