My wife and I saw the AudiovoxFPE3000 in a Sam's Club just before Christmas...But we certainly would not recommend this television to anyone...The fans have gone bad and I have been trying for 6 months to order them or buy a new power box...
Picture brightness is as good as any TV in the $3K range -- ease of set up was out of the box...and whallah, plug in and watch...THESE ARE JUNK!!! Stay away from Audiovox as they do not give any satisfaction to their customers!!! Service center took 2 months to tell me the bad news...I will NOT recommend this model...

Man O man O man did I find the deal...At Best Buy they have coax hooked up to all of the big TVs so you can see how bad the signal is compared to the DirectTV signal, so they can sell you DirectTV at Best Buy while you are there...so having an HDTV AND a progressive scan DVD player connected is impossible...
