It's a mystery why the AudiovoxNVX226 lists for $599, since it doesn't have any of the advanced features we'd expect at that price...During our testing, the NVX226 froze three times and had to be reset...Using the NVX226's menus is difficult because of their poor layout, but the POI database really surprised us...
used one time on the trip to Los Angeles which had given me lots of headache, the device has bad antenna it takes 5-10 mins to search signal for satellete and sometime I have to reset/reboot 2-3 times to make it work...It has its little faults on the touchscreen but other than that, this thing is quite good...The NVX226 has a known software problem that requires the buyer to return the unit...

Window mount Lacking features, single acquisition time, Have to recalibrate upon every start up...Unit doesnt save prior settings/fav places or most recent places once poer is turned off so U have to recalibrate and re-enter settings/fav places every time you turn it on (this gets old quick)Thought I had a bad unit and exchanged it...I would not recommend this unit to anyone...
