Beings I am getting more clarity as to which manufacturer's ram does work, I will try that...a year later, but the 512 isn't too bad, hey, it's XP not Vista...runs hot, fan to noisey recommend calibrating the fan once it a while, it helps...Let me strongly agree with the previous reviewer, that it's a decent little computer at first with everything working, but too many things go wrong too quickly...
