I am now using a linksys KVM and so far so good...This left me longing for the good old mechanical A-B switches we had way back in the 1900's! Kept switching computers on its own...This makes it very difficult to find a good place for it on your desk...

Then I found a solution to the hotkey problem - whack ScrollLock 4 times in quick succession and it switches!!!! The original poster said 6 times, but 4 seems to work for me - so now I've ditched the KVM.EXE software and systray icon...Both produce good images through the switch...I am now using a linksys KVM and so far so good...
