Understandably, the BenQ G2400W is a spartan offering as a result, but we were sure that the quality would at least be acceptable enough to make it worth buying for everyday use...The contrast at the top end isn't so bad...The design isn't bad, with a nice red Power button and a thin 20mm bezel, but even at this rock-bottom price it's hard to recommend...

The G2400W is one such product, featuring a 24-inch widescreen display capable of resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 pixels...It's a particularly good looking screen, due largely to its extremely slim and light build and no-nonsense matt-black casing...It sounds like we've been quite critical of the G2400W, and it's true that we've seen more accurate, vibrant and engrossing...

Predictably there are some immediate trade-offs because, unlike any of the monitors mentioned above, the G2400W doesn't feature much in the way of stand adjustment...Overall, however, they both share a similarly low profile appeal that's pleasing to behold...Similarly, the OSD is also excellent...
