HAVING SAID ALL THIS, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GETTING THE 2 CUP INSTEAD OF THE 4 CUP...I have both and the 4 cup never gets use because it doesn't taste as good as the 2 cup version...So far I've gone through three of them and all three were defective -- very poorly machined, sharp jagged edges, gaskets that don't fit, loose safety valves, flakes of metal floating in the brewed coffee (not good!), etc...
I learned about the Brikka through the reviewers at coffeegeek.com...Some people have commented that the Brikka is difficult to use...Since then, I've had good luck grinding finely with my own Kitchen Aid blade coffee grinder...Because they don't sell Brikka in many stores, ordering online is probably necessary...
