Bought this and worked decent for 6 months, at least what I thought was good...A woman from their company called me to confirm my address for mailing the check and she told me that it was a bad radio and they were considering no longer selling them...Decided to ditch it for good and go for a more permanent solution, the Alpine CDA9851 head unit, which has given me much better performance and no more...
Remote works great Display too bright, and display resets after power is turned off...Overall, I think this is a great unit...I haven't had it long so only time will tell how it holds up but initial quality is good...
My conclusion was that while Blaupunkt employs great presentation designers, it confirmed for me that they're not paying attention to the details of their product offerings...While I would like to recommend an alternative, the Audiovox system is seriously flawed in that it is incredibly difficult and time-consuming to get the tuner in and out of the car dock...In summary, the bottom line...
