I hate buckets for silverware, but I'll live with it for this machine...The brands I seemed to have the most good luck with not only in sales, but with the fewest complaints, were Kitchen-aid and Bosch...I read the Consumer Reports (which highly recommends the dishwasher that this model replaces) and decided to go with this......
However, this one is not their best effort...the new configuration isn't as efficient as my old machine...Other than that, it is quiet, efficient, and cost effective...
