Bose isnt bad, not for the price...They tweak the sound by way of crossover and cap manipulation, which isnt necessarily a bad thing, but there is so much compensation going on for shoddy materials, that you dont get full frequency response...They do require quite a bit of power to sound good, and need bass and treble boost on the tone controls...
poor sound Speaker preference is very subjective and, while these may sound fine to some one who didn't know any better, testing others will reveal that these aren't so hot...These might be good surrounds for home theatre, though: something that doesn't require accurate sound reproduction...Better stuff can be had for similar expenditure...
