Brother's MFC-665CW has great features, is easy to set up and is well designed...The MFC-665CW also supports WPA2 and WEP encryption methods and can be used in ad-hoc mode, if you don't have an access point...The scan and print quality of documents is very good...We think it's a very good buy, especially if you're considering a wireless multi-function...
While the box touts its wireless capability, the instructions time and time again recommend using usb or Cat5 connection for best results...If you are like me and are highly dependent upon mailmerge for your business correspondence, I would not recommend this printer until they work out the kinks with the envelope feed...I am surprisingly pleased with this one! Pros outweigh cons at time of this writing...
Overall, great buy for that price! Highly recommend it for individuals or small businesses...looks good, works well, competitive price, easy cartridge loading, control panel has nice buttons Wi-Fi set up confusing, control panel buttons confusing relative to their stated function just purchased, 11/06...but the overall unit seems sound using the ethernet connection...
