Brother rates the HL-5370DW at 30ppm, but running our five-page black text document produced a speed of only half this, at 15.8ppm...Quality of output from Brother laser printers is generally very good and is one reason for the company's strong market position...Greyscale tones are also good, with sufficient difference between shades to suggest the different colours...

So perhaps the only negative thing to say about the Brother HL-5370DW is that it's relatively undistinguished...The one that comes with the unit (which retails for about $60) is its standard-yield cartridge, good for an estimated 3,000 pages...A high-yield cartridge retails for about $100 but is good for an estimated 8,000 pages...
