It has the best low-light image quality in it's class (in 24p mode, using 1/48th second shutter speed), and CCI says that it has the overall best image quality of all comparable models...The camera feels pretty good in the hand and the controls are pretty good, with a few exceptions, most notably the zoom rocker, which is very poor compared to the EXCELLENT zoom rocker on Canon's own...

Overall I am very pleased with this camcorder...Stunning Video, Manual Focus, great auto focus and image stabilization, HDMI out, many more good features haven't found any yet Buy this camera! This camera produces near professional quality video at a price most of us can afford...I thought the image quality was good...
