Excellent photo quality (with the right lenses)
Very low noise, even at high ISOs
Solid, well designed...Images on the soft side straight out of the camera; some lenses just exacerbate the problem
...New features on the 30D (which shouldn't be confused with the EOS-D30, an older model -- poor move on Canon's part)...
