Picture quality - value for money...Slow when flash is turned on...In terms of sharpness the Powershot A2000 IS also does very well...With the lens zoomed into its maximum the Powershot A2000 IS is able to show lots of detail...This is the one photo that the Powershot A2000 IS does not quite pull off...Overall I am very pleased with the photos I have taken......

The A2000 is a bit of a new departure for the A-series...The A2000 has none of these things, and appears to be aimed at less ambitious photographers looking not for manual versatility but for a simple, easy-to-use general-purpose compact...The A2000 is an undemanding camera...The A2000 has no optical viewfinder, but it does have an enormous three-inch LCD monitor...
The Canon PowerShot A2000IS is intended as a replacement for the very popular Canon A720IS that was a sales leader last year...The new Canon A2000IS has the same 6x optical zoom range (covering focal lengths from 36-216 mm equivalent) as the A720IS did, but bumps up the resolution from 8 to 10 megapixels...One downside of the longer zoom though, is that the Canon A2000IS...
As an aside, the Canon EF lens that comes with this kit is a very nice lens that produces good quality pictures...Overall, an excellent camera for the amature photographer...Always buy good glass! You won't be disappointed with this buy...

Very nice camera, love the 6x optical zoom, takes some great night pictures and focuses really well...Large clear screen and many features make it fun to use...Not only is this small, light weight, uses "normal" batteries, etc., but it takes a GREAT picture, and with 10MP and 6X zoom, I will always be able to get the shot...
