In retrospect if you want an excellent quality HD picture I would recommend the CanonHV20...The still photos I took were as good as one of the first 3 mega pixel digital camera I use to have...09/04/2007 I have read some reviews of motor noise on this camcorder and either they have very good hearing or mine is bad...

I've had an H20 for several months now, long enough to put it through the paces, and I'm still amazed that you can get an image this good for less than a grand...In good light, color is nearly spot on (not over saturated as is typical for consumer camcorders...It is small and compact and produces a beautiful picture in good light conditions...
