The scanner is OK, not great but not bad...The MP470 is an excellent printer and produces great results, but its scanning capability is not good...It truly isn't as good as a $400 unit, but remember it costs under a hundred bucks, and for that price it is a Very good printer...

I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone, especially for those on a budget but looking for a good camera...I previously owned a Kodak Easy Share and this was a nice upgrade!!! the camera is very user friendly and it didn't take long to figure out how to get good pics under many different conditions...Very good value for the person that wants to print their own photos...
I rate this printer beyond 5.0, and would recommend it to anyone over any other printer...Set up was easy and the features are straight forward, Great quality and a Great price, Highly recommended Got it for christmas from my parents, I love it...Have gone through 2 color printer cartridges already and the last picture stilllooks as good as the first...
