It is very difficult to get at the insides of the MP530 because of the Auto document feeder and the scanner...I can send you a picture of the Purge unit and a picture of the inside of a MP530 if you send me an email with your address...I don't have the MP530 yet but I do have the MP730, and the MP780, and the Service Manuals for the MP800, MP810, MP830, MP960...I would recommend...
