I owned a Sony F717 which I really loved, but honestly, all I did was set it to Auto and take good pictures...So basically what I am saying is that, in my opinion, the XTi is just as good, if not better than the semi-pro 30D, so why pay more...If you have the budget for a good zoom lens, at over 100 lenses, Canon has you covered...
