Bottom line is there is no substitute for a steady hand, so practice with the camera...Just got this camera a few days ago and i will admit i was hesitant to buy it because of the bad reviews the Z1000 got...My conclusion is that the EX-Z1050 is markedly easier to use in terms of access to menu as well as larger space for framing the picture...
The noise reduction is somewhat apparent at ISO 800 but does a good job...Took many modes good to give to your kids to play with if the cant find thier LEAPSTER And indoor photos are noisier than my Jimmy Hendrix LPs...The 2.6" screen doesn't have any ready-made screen protectors available but the LCD itself is protected by a plastic panel so that's good...
