The mute feature is very good when you are stuck in traffic with some 'noise...The Highway/City modes helps you to filter some 'noise' and is very good when driving in cities...I took my first ESD 6700 back to the store because I thought that it was defective, but the second one was just as bad...
I would recommend this product to anyone who drives a lot and needs to be alerted to policemen, emergency vehicles, or anything else listed above...This is really helpful because obviously when you're driving it isn't a good idea to focus your attention off of the road...I would recommend this product to anyone in the market, it has tons of features and I don't have any complaints about it thus far...
