Black levels are not very good, coming out as deep grays in the best situations...Regular TV looks OK; the set does have adjustments to help produce as good a pix as possible...The SRS sound system and 30 watt total speakers do a very good job of creating a "surround sound" effect...
It arrived defective in a timely manner...you can't ask for faster junk! They have so little faith they start the warranty as soon as you hang up! The above reviews have it exactly right...Very good picture and sound is great no problems so far...And because it's a Dell, you can contact them to help you with any problems you might have...
