There's a lot of scanner in this small and unassuming grey box from Epson...Unlike more expensive models, the 2480's film adapter can only handle three 35mm frames of film at a time...The colour restoration feature is superb - great for revitalising old colour images from the 70s...
It has a color restoration feature on it for these older photos, and so far, so good...I would definetely recommend this to anyone with a large amount of hard copy photos they would like to preserve...With photos that are in good condition, I have not had a single jam - very impressive...
Overall a nice scanner for a reasonable price...Overall good deal for the price...Especially like the ability to adjust the histogram - had a very dark slide from 1975 that I never got a good print from, but by adjusting the histogram - the shadow, midtone, and highlight points were adjusted to bring out the subject of the photo...
