Small and very easy to use...Fragile and weak...I purchased the Finepix 30i as my first Fujifilm digital camera and you can't help but feel let down...It is very light, which should be a good thing, but when things like the lens cover are moved (which is manual by the way...Generally, the 30i is a good camera to start with......
But like the Exilim, the 30i offers an MP3 playback feature that will be a hit if you want to carry just one toy...The 30i is about the same height and width as the Minolta DiMage X, but it's nearly twice as thick...Despite this, the 30i has a nonzooming, fixed-focus lens (equivalent to a 38-mm lens on a 35-mm film camera...Image quality is very good, despite the fixed-focus...
Not only is the 30i a quality point-and-shoot digital camera, but it also plays MP3s, records video clips and audio, and doubles--err, quadruples--as a PC Webcam...But while the camera operation is straightforward and produces good results, the 30i's subpar audio features temper our enthusiasm...Slim and weighing just a little more than seven ounces with two AA batteries and a SmartMedia...
For MP3, Living with the Infobind security is not so bad as I thought it would be...Only whish Smartmedia came in bigger sizes than 128m! This is a fun device! I also have a Olympus, but it was too big to carry around casually and no matter how good a camera, if you don't have it with you, you don't get very good shots...It's a rather bulky but good sounding MP3 player...
