Great Pictures, good quality...Eats batteries very quickly...My friend then kindly lent me his MX500 and now he has a new camera phone I have brought it off him cheaply...But when you ask people to smile expect a 10 sec wait so not so good for taking childrens pictures...Batteries - I am using good quality batteries now but these are lasting a few weeks for taking normal pictures and loading to computer......

The Fujifilm MX-500 has a rather plain, hefty-looking silver case...The Fujifilm MX-500 is a decent camera at a fair price...It isn't as well built or as pretty as its big brother the MX-700, but it's worth a look if you want a basic digital camera with good image quality...

If that's true, that's too bad...none I have had a fujifilm MX500 since it first came out in approx 1998 and I still use it a lot for snapshots of frends at upto 2or3 meters and get very good A4s from a epson 1290 Sometimes during battery changeover setup returns to defaults...Certainly not state of the art anymore (and I suspect that it never was), but it has never failed me, takes...

While this camera is not perfect, it is really easy to use and takes good quality photos...I was looking for a digital camera that would give me good 'people' pictures since my daughter was expecting her first child...I wanted something that would let me put good pictures on the web, e-mail family......
