In P mode I have got very good pics both in Low and Day light conditions...Here is my recommended settings on P mode...Lowlight pics taken with these settings produced very less noise, vewing 100% on computer screen was not that bad at all...
I can't believe the negatives I am reading.Everything is good as good as like minded cameras from other companies...Trust me this camera is definitely better then average Get real a fine camera! I would highly recommend this camera for amateur photographers like myself...Espically with the dual stabalization! 18X Zoom Very Sharp,Equally Great Macro Shots,Good Gripping If Your Used To 35mm SlRs None except if your going to use the USB port socket (Door very flimsy) put memory cards in computer's lot if you have one...Uses AA batteries but I would recommend rechargeables instead of disposables...
