This unit can be a convection...When i opened the container, both sides of the microwave were dented (pressed in on both sides)Fortunately i was able to return to the store the next day and ordered a replacement...Now that I'm reading it, i fully agree, unless GE fixes the packaging they can expect most microwaves damaged/returned back to them...
