Garmin is now offering a cheaper model, the nüvi 250, which sells for $100 less...What do you give up by buying a nüvi 250 instead of the nüvi 350...With the 250, you have to disconnect the power from the unit each time you remove it from the mounting bracket...I also noticed that my 250 test unit did not use a state-of-the-art SiRFStarIII receiver...
