The bottom line is that you can't look at the watch and say "right now I'm running 9 mins/mile...The PC software is very good for presenting time/distance/pace/heartrate/calorie data...That looks really good and provides some additional functionality beyond the included Training Center software, although I still haven't decided if it's worth the $$$ yet for long-term data storage...
I would highly recommend this product to those that need that added motivation to get out the door and to run a few miles...My only other recommendation would be to find some other software out there to use the device with...I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is running a lot and training regularly or for anyone who just likes to keep track of his/her heart rate, pace, etc...
