Usefull in my car, motorcycle, and boat...With the right charts and road maps it can automatically mark some good points of interest (bathrooms, restaurants, good fishing spots, etc.) We can't wait to take it to the mountains to use the 3D, altimeter, and topographic functions on the hiking trails...Would recommend an external antenna if using in an automobile...
